Rain, Cheer Up Charlie’s make Esquire’s list of best LGBTQ bars in the U.S.

Austin (KXAN) — 4 Texas bars made Esquire’s list of the best homosexual bars in America Two in Austin and two in Dallas.

A 4-day rain and a cheered-up Charles rounded up the 32-man roster printed Wednesday by Esquire. Each are iconic names in Austin, particularly in the queer neighborhood.

Austin: Rain on 4th

rain on the 4thLocated at 217 W. 4th St., it has been open for almost 20 years. On the Rain web site, the bar describes itself as an upscale homosexual lounge in Austin. LGBTQ+ bars provide a variety of social leisure corresponding to drag reveals, comedy and dance music.
